Nothing happens when trying

∙ Ensure that the printer is at READY.

 

to print using a software

∙ Observe the Front Panel, if the READY

program:

light does not flash as you send the format

 

 

check the protocol and port settings

 

between the printer and host.

 

 

 

∙ Ensure the interface

cable

meets

the

 

requirements found in Section 3.0.1.

 

 

 

Poor print quality:

∙ The printhead may need cleaning; see

 

Section 5.3.1.

 

 

 

 

 

 

∙ Adjust the Heat and Print Speed settings

 

through the Front Panel or by host

 

commands; see Section 4.1.3. (The same

 

functional commands from the host

 

computer override the menu settings.)

 

 

∙ The media/ribbon combination may not be

 

compatible; see Section 2.1.

 

 

 

∙ The

label’s edge. Try reducing or moving the

Unable to print rotated text:

The characters may be formatted outside the

 

label dimensions. Ensure the row/column

 

values provide enough room for the height of

 

the characters or bar code to be printed. See
