7.3 KEYBOARD

To remove the keyboard, follow these steps: 1. Turn OFF the computer.

CAUTION

The system unit power should be OFF prior to disconnecting the keyboard cable.

2.Gently pull the keyboard connector from the receptacle on the front of the system unit (Figure 7-5).

3.Set the keyboard aside.

To replace the keyboard, reverse Steps 1 and 2 of the preceding removal procedures.
