7.If you applied the patch, place the patched files on the working copies of the appropri- ate NetWare diskettes. Use the NETGEN program to generate and link the NetWare operating system and utilities.
8.Run COMPSURF to perform a surface analysis on the server fixed disk drives. The following are appropriate responses to COMPSURF prompts:

9.Use the “NetWare Installation” option from the NETGEN Main Menu to install NetWare.
NOTE: When installing NetWare on high capacity fixed disk drives, the NET- GEN program may halt and display the following message:
ABEND: Not enough memory for disk FAT tables.
The NETGEN memory require- ments does not leave enough memory to store the File Allocation Table for large SYS: volumes. The solution is to avoid the “NetWare Installation” choice on the NET- GEN Main Menu and install the software manually.
