Manually Dialing a Fax While Listening to a
Telephone Line (On Hook Dial)
1From the main menu, use the up and down Arrow buttons to scroll to Fax, and
press Select .
2Use the up and down Arrow buttons to scroll to On Hook Dial.
3Press Select to make the printer go off hook.
4Enter the number to which you want to send a fax.
5Press Start when you are ready to send a fax.
Send a Delayed Fax
1From the main menu, use the up and down Arrow buttons to scroll to Fax, and
press Select .
2Use the up and down Arrow buttons to scroll to Delay Sending Fax.
The Delay Sending Fax screen opens.
3Use the keypad to specify the hour, and then press the right Arrow button .
4Use the keypad to specify the minutes, and then press the right Arrow button .
5Use the keypad to specify AM (1), PM (2), or 24Hr (3).
6Press Select .
7Enter the number to which you want to send a fax.
8Press Start .
At the designated time, the fax number is dialed, and the fax is transmitted to the
designated fax number. If the fax transmission is unsuccessful, the unsuccessful number is
tried again based on the redial settings.
