Opening The Blade

not authorized by Dell is not covered by your warranty. Read and follow the safety instructions
that came with the product.
NOTE: It is recommended that you always use a static mat and static strap while working on
components in the interior of the system.
1. Remove the blade from the enclosure.
2. Install the I/O connector cover.
3. Press the release buttons and slide the cover toward the back of the blade.
4. Carefully lift the cover away from the blade.
