Using Speed & Progress (for Windows 95 only)

You can make certain print speed settings with the Speed &

Progress dialog box.

To acces the Speed & Progress dialog box, double-click the My

Computer icon, double-click the Printer icon, right-click your

printer icon, and sel ect Properties. The printer driver window

appears. Click the Utility tab and click the Speed & Progress

button.

High Speed Copies

To print multiple copies of your document faster, tu rn on High

Speed Copies.

Enable EPSON Printer Port

To speed up the data transfer rate to EPSON printers, turn on

Enable EPSON Printer Port.

Operation The P power light is on but nothing prints. Nothing prints and the control panel lights are on or flashing. The printer sounds like it is printing, but nothing prints. 9-10 The self test prints well, but nothing prints from an application program. A SC 850 (or SC 850 (AT))cannot be used error appears. (Macintosh only) Printing starts too high or too low on the page. 9-12 Color documents print out in black and white. Print speed is not what you expect. Printing quality is not what you expect. 9-22 Colors are different from what you expect. Colors are not very vibrant. 9-24 Dots are missing in printed characters or graphics. Photographic images look grainy or rough. The Status Monitor 2 window does not appear when you are using Windows 95. 9-26 When you clean the print heads using the Head Cleaning utility, the output quality does not improve.
