5. Select your printer icon in the EPSON Printer Utility Setup

dialog box. Click OK. The installation program begins

copying the printer software files.

6. When the installation is complete, click OK to exit the

installation program.

The printer software is now installed. The installation program

automatically selects this printer as the default printer for

Windows applicat ions.

Before using the printer software, be sure to read the README

file located in the EPSON group. For information on opening

and using the printer driver, see “Printing With Windows” in

Chapter 3.

Operation The P power light is on but nothing prints. Nothing prints and the control panel lights are on or flashing. The printer sounds like it is printing, but nothing prints. 9-10 The self test prints well, but nothing prints from an application program. A SC 850 (or SC 850 (AT))cannot be used error appears.
