Job Count

Shows the number of jobs waiting to print.

Note:

To get more information, choose Job Status on the Printer menu

or click the Job Status button on the tool bar.

To get more detailed information on the status of a particular

printer, open the Printer Status window by double-clicking the

printer name.

Note:

You can control the contents of the Status Monitor 2 window using

the View menu. See online help for Status Monitor 2.

If you access the Printer Status window from the Status

Monitor 2 window, the following window appears:

Note:

You can also access the Printer Status window from the Statu s Alert

dialog box. See the next section for infromation on the Status Alert

Operation The P power light is on but nothing prints. Nothing prints and the control panel lights are on or flashing. The printer sounds like it is printing, but nothing prints. 9-10 The self test prints well, but nothing prints from an application program. A SC 850 (or SC 850 (AT))cannot be used error appears. (Macintosh only) Printing starts too high or too low on the page. 9-12 Color documents print out in black and white. Print speed is not what you expect. Photographic images look grainy or rough. The Status Monitor 2 window does not appear when you are using Windows 95. 9-26 When you clean the print heads using the Head Cleaning utility, the output quality does not improve.
