Making Changes to Printer Driver Settings
The printer software contains the printer driver setting menus
explained below, and the Utility menu explained on page 4-15.
Main Mode, Media Type, Ink
Paper Paper Size, Copies, Orientation, Printable Area
Layout Proportional Printing, Print Layout, Watermark
The Layout menu is available only for Windows 95 and NT 4.0
users.
Using the Automatic Setting
When Automatic is selected on the Main menu, the printer
driver takes care of all detailed settings according to the Media
Type and Ink settings you make (see page 4-10 for details on
the Media Type settings). So, the only settings you need to
make are the the Media Type and Ink settings. Most Windows
applications feature paper size and page layout settings which
override similar settings on the Paper menu, but if your
application does not, you should verify the settings on the
Paper menu.
