EConnections for balanced and unbalanced audio outputs — These 3.5 mm, 5-pole captive screw connectors output the selected unamplified, line level audio. Connect audio devices, such as an audio amplifier or powered speakers. See figure 22 to properly wire an output connector. Use the supplied tie-wrap to strap the audio cable to the extended tail of the connector.

ATTENTION: For unbalanced audio, connect the sleeves to the ground contact. DO NOT connect the sleeves to the negative (-) contacts.

NOTE: The length of exposed wires is important. The ideal length is 3/16 inch (5 mm). See the NOTES on page 24 for details.

The volume level for each analog output can be individually set via the front panel or remote control (see the Viewing and Adjusting the Analog Output Volume on page 68). You can also use an SIS command (see page 97), the Matrix Switchers Control Program (see page 125), or the HTML pages (see Change the output volume level (audio models) on page 146).

FConnections for unbalanced audio inputs — Each input has a pair (left and right) of female RCA connectors for unbalanced stereo audio input.
