	Press STOP to clear the print job from the product memory. Turn the product off, and then turn
	the product on.
	Try printing a job from a different software program. If the job prints, go back to the first program
	and try printing a different file. (If the message appears only with a certain software program or
	print job, contact the software vendor for assistance.)
8X.YYYY	The EIO accessory in slot [z] has encountered a critical error. [z] description:
EIO [Z] ERROR	1 = EIO slot 1: The product has detected an error with the EIO accessory.
	2 = EIO slot 2: The product has detected an error with the EIO accessory.
	6 = EIO slot 1: The EIO accessory has detected an error. The EIO accessory might be
	defective.
	7 = EIO slot 2: The EIO accessory has detected an error. The EIO accessory might be
	defective.
	Turn the product off, and then turn the product on.
	Turn the product off, reseat the EIO accessory in slot [z], and then turn the product on.
	Turn the product off, remove the EIO accessory from slot [z], install it in a different EIO slot, and
	then turn the product on.
	Replace the EIO accessory in slot [z].
	The e-mail gateway is not configured. Contact your system administrator.

Equipment error messages

Message	Explanation or recommended action
BLOWN MOTOR FUSE	The scanner reports this error when it detects that the motor fuse has
ERROR	blown.
BLOWN LAMP FUSE	The scanner reports this error when it detects that the lamp fuse has
ERROR	blown. This fuse is common to the front and back scanning lamps.
FRONT SIDE OPTICAL	The scanner reports this error when it detects a problem with the front
SYSTEM ERROR	side optical system.
MECHANICAL ERROR	The scanner reports this error when it detects a general mechanical
	problem.
