Stopping Schedules on Agent Hosts

Stopping Schedules on Agent Hosts

When you stop a surveillance schedule on an agent host, the schedule is removed from the agent and ceases to be scheduled or running. The agent program continues running, ready to accept future actions.

If you want to replace one schedule with another, just activate the new one; see “Activating a Schedule on Agent Hosts” on page 50.

To stop a surveillance schedule on agent hosts

On the System Manager screen.

Step 1. In the Monitored Hosts list, select the host or hosts you want to stop the schedules on.

Step 2. Do one of the following:

•Click the Stop button

•Choose the Actions > Stop Schedule menu item

•Press Shift-F3

•Right-click (in the Monitored Hosts area) and select Stop Schedule from the menu

The schedules are stopped on and removed from the selected hosts. The Status ﬁeld is set to Available and the Schedule ﬁeld is set to None. To restart the schedules, you must activate them again; see “Activating a Schedule on Agent Hosts” on page 50.
