Using Multiple Host Files
To use multiple host files to monitor varying sets of agent hosts, the following suggestions may be useful:
•Since the sentinal.hosts file is always loaded when the System Manager starts, do not enable any of the hosts in it. This prevents the System Manager from polling any of the agent hosts.
•After you start the System Manager, load the host file of your choice. It can have hosts enabled in it.
•To switch to another host set without stopping your current agents, exit from the System Manager and restart it. Then load the new host file.
