Default Gateway configuration

The switch supports up to four gateways. By default, no gateways are configured on the switch. Enter 1, 2, 3, or 4 in the command as the <gateway number>, depending upon which gateway you want to configure.

addr <IP address> | Configures the IP address of the default IP gateway using dotted decimal notation. For |
| example, 192.4.17.44 |

intr | The switch pings the default gateway to verify that it is up. The intr option sets the time |
| between health checks. The range is from 0 to 60 seconds. The default is 2 seconds. |
|
|
retry | Sets the number of failed health check attempts required before declaring this default |
| gateway inoperative. The range is from 1 to 120 attempts. The default is 8 attempts. |
|
|
arp disableenable | Enables or disables Address Resolution Protocol (ARP) health checks. This command is |
| disabled by default. |
|
|
ena | Enables the gateway for use. |
|
|
dis | Disables the gateway. |
|
|
del | Deletes the gateway from the configuration. |
|
|
cur | Displays the current gateway settings. |
