Cisco commands to verify RIP

The sh ip route command is the CIsco equivalent of the dump command shown above. RIP

routes are marked by the letter R in the left hand column. Most OSPF commands are marked

by the letter O. The show ip protocol command (shown in Example7-37) provides detailed

information about the operation of RIP when it is running (and also on OSPF when it is

running).
