Set Privileged-Access Password : The privileged-access password protects against the unauthorized starting of the system programs.

you previously had set a

privileged-access

password

and want

to

remove

it,

If yfourgetyour password,

you

have

to

shut

down

the

computer

and

remove

the battery

for

at least 30 seconds to disable the password. See

Appendix B,

“Replacing

the

Battery” on page B-1 for details.
