012: Sub Oscill

(Stereo Sub Oscillator)

This effect adds very low frequencies to the input signal. It is very useful when simulating a roaring drum sound or emphasizing powerful low range. This effect is different from the equalizer in that you can add very low range harmonics. You can also adjust the oscillator frequency to match a partic- ular note number, for use as an octaver.

a: OSC Mode, b: Note Interval, b: Note Fine

The “OSC Mode” parameter selects the oscillator opera- tion mode. When Note (Key Follow) is selected, the oscil- lator’s frequency is determined based on the note number, allowing you to use it as an octaver. The “Note Interval” parameter sets the pitch offset from the original note number by semitone steps. The “Note Fine” parame- ter allows you to fine-tune in steps of cents.

d: Envelope Pre LPF

This parameter sets the upper limit of the frequency range to which very low harmonics are added. Adjust this parameter if you do not want to add lower harmonics to the higher range.

013: Talking Mod

(Talking Modulator)

This effect adds an unusual character, like a human voice, to the input signal. Modulating the tone via dynamic modula- tion, you can create an interesting effect that sounds as if the guitar or synthesizer is talking.

c: Voice Top, d: Voice Center, e: Voice Bottom

These parameters assign vowels to the top, center, and bottom position of the controller.

E.g.: When “Voice Top”=A, “Voice Center”=I, and “Voice Bottom”=U:

If “Sweep Mode ”is set to D-modand Ribbon is selected as the modulation source, moving your finger from the right to left of the ribbon controller will change the sound from “a” to “i,” then “u.”
