032: Tremolo

(Stereo Tremolo)

This effect modulates the volume level of the input signal. The effect is stereo, and offsetting the LFO of the left and right phases from each other produces a tremolo effect between left and right.

a:LFO Waveform

This parameter selects the LFO waveform. Vintage wave simulates the characteristics of the tremolo created on a guitar amplifier. Combining this effect with the Amp Sim- ulation will make a realistic, vintage tremolo amplifier sound.

b: LFO Phase [degree]

This parameter determines the difference between the left and right LFO phases. A higher value will simulate the auto-pan effect in which the sound is panned between left and right.

033: EnvelTremol

(Stereo Envelope Tremolo)

This effect uses the input signal level to modulate a stereo tremolo. You can simulate a tremolo effect that becomes deeper as it fades out while the level gets lower.

d:LFO Frequency [Hz], d: Envelope Amount [Hz],

e:Depth, e: Envelope Amount

These parameters set the modulation via an envelope (input signal level).

The “LFO speed” is obtained by adding the “LFO Fre- quency” value to the “Envelope Amount” value multi- plied by the input signal. The LFO modulation depth is obtained by adding the Depth value to the “Envelope Amount” value multiplied by the input signal level.

The following example indicates that the “Depth” is 0 with an LFO Frequency of 1.0Hz and the maximum input, and that the “Depth” is 100 with a Frequency of

8.0Hz with zero input.

“LFO Frequency [Hz]”=8.0, “Envelope Amount [Hz]”=–7.0
