Using MFP menus

NetWare

Use these menu items to view or change the MFP NetWare settings.

Menu item	Purpose	Values and descriptions
Login Name	Shows the field used to assign the	text entry
	NetWare login name.	Enter the Login Name. Thereafter, select Login Name to show
		the NetWare name on the LCD.
Print Mode	Assigns the NetWare print mode.	Pserver*
		Rprinter
Network Number	Shows the field used to assign the	text entry
	NetWare number.	Enter the Netware number. Thereafter, select View Network
		Number to show the NetWare network number on the LCD.
Activate	Activates or deactivates the	Off	Off—Deactivates the NetWare feature.
	NetWare feature.	On*	On—Activates the NetWare feature.
Ethernet 802.2	Sets the Ethernet 802.2 value On or	On*	IPX Frame Types, which allow the
	Off.	Off	adapter to initiate conversations, are
			used.
Ethernet 802.3	Sets the Ethernet 802.3 value On or	On*
	Off.	Off
Ethernet Type II	Sets the Ethernet Type II value On	On*
	or Off.	Off
Ethernet SNAP	Sets the Ethernet SNAP value On	On*
	or Off.	Off
Packet Burst	Sets the Packet Burst value On or	On

NSQ/GSQ Mode	Sets the NSQ/GSQ Mode value On	On	This is the broadcast search method
	or Off.	Off*	on the Web pages.

AppleTalk

Use these menu items to view or change the MFP AppleTalk settings.

Menu item	Purpose	Values and descriptions
View Name	Shows the assigned AppleTalk	Select Name to show the AppleTalk name on the LCD.
