The current call is disconnected.
2. Pick up the handset.
You are automatically connected to the extension sending the Call
Waiting.
To answer Call Waiting (without disconnecting the current call):
1. Press
HOLD.
• The current call is disconnected.
• The new call is connected automatically.
2. Press
HOLD again to retrieve the first call.

Considerations
• Call Waiting can be used without entering a message code.
• An extension that has DND activated, has a ca ll on hold, is ringing (from
another call), or is engaged in a conference call cannot receive Call
Waiting messages.
• An extension that has call forwarding activated cannot re ceive call waiting
messages unless it has an available ML key.
