9.2 Procedure

Example for rotor position identification (see screenshot below):

9. Rotate the axis and check that it is functioning correctly

Does the axis rotate with a positive speed setpoint in the required direction? ● No → Change MD 32100 (direction of rotation)

Is the angle of rotation OK (specification = 10°→ angle = 10°)?

10.Set or carry out referencing/adjustment

Incremental measuring system:

Referencing (see Commissioning Manual 840D/611D, chapter titled "Axis reference point approach")

Absolute measuring system:

Adjustment (see Commissioning Manual 840D/611D, chapter titled "Assigning parameters for absolute measuring systems (EnDat interface)")

Set the software limit switches (see Commissioning Manual 840D/611D, chapter titled "Axis monitoring", under keyword "Monitoring positions using software limit switches")
