To replacethe top cover, insert the tabs into the slots on the printer case. Swingthe front edge downto closethe cover.

Leavethe top cover closedduringnormaloperation.The cover keeps out dustanddirt andreducestheprinter’soperatingsounds.Openthecoveronly to changethe ribbonor make an adjustment.
