Table of Contents

(TOC) file A fundamental component of a content package. A TOC file lists the set of index and data files that contain the bit streams that make up the movie contained by that content package. MSM clients play movies by specifying a TOC file for that movie. See Section B.2 “The TOC File” on page B-3 for a complete description.

trick play The capability for “VCR-like” functions of fast forward, fast reverse, and pause.

wall-clock time Time of day. In a Media Stream Manager (MSM) environment, represented as seconds after 00:00:00 UTC Jan 1, 1970.
