console inactivity-timer

Use the console inactivity-timer command to specify an inactivity timeout value for the console.

console inactivity-timer <min>

SYNTAX DESCRIPTION: 0 - 60 minutes (0 means no timeout)

DEFAULT VALUE:	The default value is 5 minutes.
COMMAND MODES:	Global configuration
REFERENCE:	HP
MENU:	Basic Switch Configuration Menu->User Interface->Set Console UI Time

EXAMPLE:

!Set console timeout 5min Switch(config)# console inactivity-timer5 Switch(config)#

!Set console no timeout

Switch(config)# console inactivity-timer 0

Switch(config)#

show console

Use the show console command to display user telnet information.

show console
SYNTAX DESCRIPTION:	The show console command has no arguments or keywords.
DEFAULT VALUE:	The show console command has no default setting.
COMMAND MODES:	Privileged EXEC
REFERENCE:	None.
