PhaserPrint for UNIX software is available for these workstations:

PhaserPrint for UNIX software works with the workstation’s native spooling system to print PostScript files and convert raster files to PostScript from these formats:

Sun Raster Format (SRF)	BMP (Microsoft Windows)
xwd	PCX (Paintbrush)
SGI RGB	PBM (Portable Bitmap)
HP Starbase	TIFF baseline with these extensions:

■ CCITT Bi-level Encoding ■ LZW compression

■ Pack Bits compression ■ JPEG compression

The printer’s CD-ROM contains a demonstration copy of PhaserPrint for UNIX software and an on-line instruction guide in the UNIX/UNIXDEMO directory.
