5. HARDWARE FEATURES

5.1 LED Indicators

This section explains the LED States and Descriptions. LED indicators are used to verify the unit’s operation and status.

	LED States and Descriptions

LED	State	Description
	Solid Green	Modem power is ON.
POWER	OFF	Modem power is OFF.
POWER	Solid Red	POST (Power On Self Test), Failure (not bootable) or Device
	Solid Red	Malfunction. NOTE: The Power LED should be red no longer
		than two seconds after the power on self test passes.
		Powered device is connected to the associated port (includes
	Solid Green	devices with wake-on LAN capability where slight voltage is
	Solid Green	supplied to an Ethernet connection).
ETHERNET		NOTE: When using the optional uplink port (E1), Ethernet LAN
(E1, E2, E3, E4)		connection is limited to E2, E3, and E4.

		NOTE: If the IP or PPP session is dropped due to an idle timeout,
