Appendix LFirewall Commands

The following describes the firewall commands. See the Command Interpreter appendix for information on the command structure.

config edit firewall active <yes

This command turns the firewall on or off.

config retrieve firewall

This command returns the previously saved firewall

 

 

settings.

 

config save firewall

This command saves the current firewall settings.

Display

 

 

config display firewall

config display firewall set <set #>

config display firewall set <set #> rule <rule #>

config display firewall attack

This command shows the of all the firewall settings including e-mail, attack, and the sets/ rules.

This command shows the current configuration of a set; including timeout values, name, default-permit, and etc.

If you don’t put use a number (#) after “set”, information about all of the sets/rules appears.

This command shows the current entries of a rule in a firewall rule set.

This command shows all of the attack response settings.
