Sending a Fax at a Later Date and Time

The delayed transmission feature allows you to send documents at a specified date and time, and frees you from the need to manually start the transmis- sion. You can program a delayed transmission to occur at any time on the day of your transmission, or at any time over the next three days.

You can program your fax machine to send one delayed fax at a time either from the document feeder or from memory. Refer to the table below to decide which method you want to use.

Sending a Delayed Fax from the Document Feeder

1Load your documents.

2Press the Select Function key.

3Press the 1/Delayed TX One Touch key. The display will show DELAYED TX and today’s date.

4If the transmission is to occur today, press the Yes key and go to step 7. If the transmission is to occur at a later date, press the No key.

5Using the numeric keypad, enter the date on which you wish the transmission to begin.

6Press the Yes key. The display will show

PRG. START TIME.

7Using the numeric keypad, enter the time on which you wish the transmission to begin.

Tip: Be sure to enter the time using a 24-hour clock (i.e., 8:00 a.m. would be entered as 08:00, and 8:00 p.m. would be entered as 20:00).

8Press the Yes key and the display will show BROADCAST/MEMORY TX or FEEDER TX depend- ing on the User Function 18 setting.

9If the display shows FEEDER TX go to step 10. If the
