Command

Description

 

 

'AKEYP-<number string>'

Open the Touch Panel keypad and initialize the number string entry. The keypad string is set to null during power-up and is stored until power-down.

<number string> = 0 - 9999

 

Example:

 

SEND_COMMAND TP,'AKEYP-1988'

 

Opens the Touch Panel keypad with 1988 in the display.

'AKEYR'

Close the Touch Panel keyboard or keypad opened with the

 

'AKEYB', 'AKEYP', or 'PKEYP' commands.

 

Example:

 

SEND_COMMAND TP,'AKEYR'

 

Closes the keyboard or keypad opened using the 'AKEYB',

 

AKEYP', or PKEYP' commands.

'BEEP'

Output one beep. The Beep button in the Protected Setup

 

page must be set to 1 - 10 for this command.

 

Example:

 

SEND_COMMAND TP,'BEEP'

 

Beeps the panel if the Beep button is not set to 0.

'BRIT=<level>'

Adjust brightness of display. The brightness range is 1

 

(minimum) to 8 (maximum).

 

<level> = 1 - 8

 

Example:

 

SEND_COMMAND TP,'BRIT=8'

 

Sets to highest brightness level.

'CALIBRATE'

Start Touch Panel calibration.

 

Example:

 

SEND_COMMAND TP,'CALIBRATE'

 

Starts the calibration operation on the Touch Panel.
