Battery Settings Page (Cont.)

Panel Shutdown:

This value determines the number of minutes that would need to pass before

 

the panel automatically shuts-down. Once shutdown, the unit would have to be

 

restarted. The UP/DN buttons alter the timeout value (in minutes). A value of 0

 

disables this feature.

 

Range = 0, 3, 5, 10, 15, 30, 60, 120, 180, 240 default = 0.

 

Note: This field applies to MVP-BP batteries installed in the panel.

 

 

Low Battery Warning:

The UP/DN buttons adjust the time value (in minutes) available on the battery

 

(for use) before the panel displays a low battery warning.

 

Range - 10, 15, 20, 30, 45 default = 15 min.

 

Note: This field applies to MVP-BP batteries installed in the panel.

 

 

Very Low Battery Warning:

The UP/DN buttons adjust the time value (in minutes) available on the battery

 

before the panel displays a very low battery warning (indicating near-term panel

 

shutdown).

 

Range = 3, 5, 7, 10 default = 5 min.

 

This value cannot exceed the Low Battery Warning value.

 

Note: This field applies to MVP-BP batteries installed in the panel.

 

 

Combined Charge Status

Indicates the combined power charge available from batteries installed in the

 

panel. This bar is light blue when connected to a power source, and turns

 

orange and displays the current charge when the panel is running on battery

 

power.

 

 

Battery One Charge Status

Indicates the power charge available on the Slot 1 battery in the panel. This bar

 

is light blue when connected to a power source, and turns orange and displays

 

the current charge when the panel is running on battery power.

 

 

Battery Two Charge Status

Indicates the power charge available on the Slot 2 battery (in the panel). This

 

bar is light blue when connected to a power source, and turns orange and

 

displays the current charge when the panel is running on battery power. If the

 

panel does not have a Slot 2 battery, this bar will be dark blue, and will turn dark

 

orange when the panel is disconnected from a power source.

 

 

Battery Dock 1 Charge

Indicates the power charge available on the docking station’s battery #1.

Battery Dock 2 Charge

Indicates the power charge available on the docking station’s battery #2.

Status

Note: If no batteries are being charged within the docking station’s battery

 

compartments, or the MVP is not connected to a docking station; both Battery

 

Dock Charge Status fields are left blank.

 

 

Docking Station Version

Indicates the firmware version currently installed on the docking station.

 

 

Battery Level Port

Indicates the port being used to report charge status levels back to the NetLinx

 

Master (set in TPDesign4).

 

 

Battery Level

Indicates the level being used to report status levels back to the NetLinx Master

 

(set in TPDesign4).
