Cannot select the printer driver in the Chooser

Check the following items if you cannot select the printer in the Chooser.

Make sure the printer is switched on

Make sure the printer is switched on and the POWER lamp is green. If the green light is flashing, then printer is warming up. Wait few moments for the printer to finish warming up. If the printer does not switch on then see page 128.

Check the printer and the interface cable connections

Check the printer status and the connection of the printer interface cable connections. (128)

Make sure that the printer driver has been installed correctly

There may be a problem with the printer driver. Uninstall it and install the printer driver again.

The problem may exist in the printer driver. Uninstall the printer driver and reinstall it. For details about uninstalling the printer driver, refer to the Macintosh Printer Driver Guide. For details about installing the printer driver, see Getting Started.

Make sure the server is switched on in the networking environment
