To view the Reference Guide, Adobe Acrobat Reader 3.0 or later must
be installed in your computer.

If Acrobat Reader is installed, the Reference Guide starts up automatically. If Acrobat Reader 3.0 or later is not installed, a message appears and prompts you to install Acrobat Reader 4.0 from the Setup Software & Reference Guide
When using a Macintosh series with a standard USB interface
If Acrobat Reader 3.0 or later is not installed, install Acrobat Reader 4.0 from the Setup Software & Reference Guide

Follow the instruction on the screen and complete the installation.
When the Reference Guide starts up, bookmarks are displayed on the right side of the screen. (For example, if you click “How to Use This Manual”, the operation procedure is displayed.)

• The electrical contacts inside the printer become hot during normal operation. To avoid causing a fire or dangerous electrical shock, never store volatile substances like alcohol, thinner, etc. near the printer.
