5. Store the BJ Cartridge in a BJ Cartridge Container
To prevent the print head from drying out, close the lid on the container tightly. If the print head dries out, it will no longer be able to print.
6. Remove the Scanner Cartridge from its protective case.
Save the case! You will need it to store the Scanner Cartridge when it is
not installed on the printer.
7. With its label facing up, place the Scanner Cartridge in the cartridge holder at a slight angle.
Film cable
Insert the Scanner Cartridge so the marks
are aligned. (

When the top cover is open, never touch the orange film cable inside
the printer.
