About the Setup Software & Reference Guide CD-

The Setup Software & Reference Guide CD-ROM provided with the printer contains the following programs. Select the desired program on the menu screen.

Install Software

Installs Software, such as the printer driver and scanner driver for the BJC-55 Series printer. For details, refer to Getting Started.

Reference Guide

On-line manual which explains how to use the printer. You can view the Reference Guide on the screen of your computer. You can also print the contents of the Reference Guide, if necessary.

How to Use the Setup Software & Reference Guide CD-ROM

When using Windows 98, Windows 95 or Windows 2000

Load the Setup Software & Reference Guide CD-ROM into the CD- ROM drive on a computer that satisfies the system requirements. The CD-ROM starts automatically and a menu screen is displayed. (If the CD-ROM does not start automatically, click the My Computer icon on the Windows desktop and then double-click the CD-ROM icon.)

When using Macintosh series which supports standard USB interface

Load the Setup Software & Reference Guide CD-ROM into the CD- ROM drive on a computer that satisfies the system requirements. The CD-ROM folder opens automatically. When you view the Reference Guide, follow the procedure below.

Double-click the Manual folder.

Double-click the folder of your language.

Double-click the BJC55x_mac/IS12x_mac.

(“x” differs depending on the language you selected.)

When you install the printer driver, refer to Getting Started.
