Serial (Console) Port

The Cisco ADE 2130 and 2140 Series appliance has two standard serial (console) ports. The appliance comes with a console port cable kit, which contains the cable and adapter to connect a console terminal (an ASCII terminal or PC running terminal-emulation software). The console cable kit includes the following items:

RJ-45-to-RJ-45 rollover cable (light blue)

RJ-45-to-DB-9 female DTE adapter (labeled TERMINAL)

Use the configuration/setup utility program to change the port address assignments.
