4Remove the new cartridges from the foil, and t hen remove the protective cap from each of the ink cartridges.

Install the black ink cartridge and then the c olor ink cartridge. Use two hands to install each c artridge.

Note: Install the ink cartridges immediately after removing the protectiv e cap to avoid exposing the ink to air.

5Close the printer.
