Parameters for the parallel port includes:

•Serial Printer Setup-->Printer 1: Sets serial port 1’s parameters. -->Printer 2 (optional): Sets serial port 2’s parameters.

Note: The number of printers to configure depends on the number of serial ports on the FastPort.

10.4.5SMB Config.

There are a series of choices that can be selected to configure FastPort for a SMB network, including:

•SMB Config. --> HP DLC: Enables/disables HP’s DLC protocol.Default: Disabled. -->SMB Enabled: Enables/disables SMB protocol. Default: Enabled. -->SMB Names: Sets the SMB workgroup and unique identification. Default:

Disabled.

-->SMB Share Names: Sets the aliases of the printer port. Default: Disabled (Refer to Figure 10-13).
