Clearing jams from the ADF
Pages can jam at the beginning or the end of a page. Use the appropriate procedure below to clear the jam and continue.
To clear jams at the start of a page
1Raise the hatch.
2Lift the large green tab (located to the left of the roller) and gently remove the jammed page.

3If the item cannot be easily removed, lift the two green tabs located behind the rollers and gently remove the green paper lead as shown.
Note: Using force to remove the page might cause damage to your originals. If the majority of the paper is already through the main roller, use the procedure to clear jams at the end of a page.
