Within a grid, the same service can be installed and used on more than one node. The settings made to a service on one node do not affect the

settings on the same service installed on a different node. System-wide configurations can be made by a service technician under the Vendor

account using components of the Configuration Management Node (CMN).

Service Components

Each service is composed of one or more components that manage one piece of the service’s functionality. When using the NMS, you can select a service’s component to view the attributes that the component manages. The NMS also provides alarm status, reporting functionality,
