TV Configuration

This setting allows you to set the video signal format for displaying camera images on a television (TV) that is connected to the camera with an HP Photosmart R-series camera dock. For information on connecting the camera to a TV, see the dock User’s Manual.

The default TV Configuration setting depends on the language and region you selected when you turned on the camera for the first time.

1.In the Setup Menu (see page 113), select TV Configuration.

2.Use the buttons to highlight one of these two choices:

NTSC—Used primarily in North America, parts of South America, Japan, Korea, and Taiwan

PAL—Used primarily inEurope, Uruguay, Paraguay, Argentina, and parts of Asia

TIP: If the current setting does not work where you live, try the other setting.

3.Press to save the setting and return to the Setup Menu.

The new setting remains in effect until it is changed again, even when you turn the camera off.

NOTE: When viewing images on a TV, the rate at which images are displayed can be affected by the speed of a memory card, or by the quantity and size of images or video clips being viewed.
