4In the left pane of the Address Book Editor, right-click E-Mail, and then select New Œ New Entry. The E-Mail Address dialog appears.

5The Address Book Editor automatically assigns the Address ID to the first empty entry. To manually specify the Address ID, click Specify an Address Number, and then enter a value from 1 to 100 for the desired address number.

6Fill in the information for the e-mail address:

aIn the Name field, enter the name that you want this address to appear under in the Address Book.

bIn the E-Mail Address field, enter the e-mail address of the recipient.

7To add this e-mail address to existing groups: a Click Group Membership.

b Select the group(s) to add this entry to, and then click OK.

8Click OK.

9From the File menu, select Save All.

The Address Book is saved with the new entry.

Creating an e-mail address using the Embedded Web Server

1Open a Web browser.

2In the address bar, type the IP address of the printer, and then press Enter. If the Java applet screen appears, click Yes.

3Click Address Book.

4Under Email Address Book, click Individual Directory.

5In the Directory Listing, click Add for any blank address.

6Fill in the information for the e-mail address:

aIn the Name field, enter the name that you want this address to appear under in the Address Book.

bIn the Email Address field, enter the e-mail address of the recipient.

7Click Save Changes to create the address.

Creating an e-mail group using the Embedded Web Server

1Open a Web browser.

2In the address bar, type the IP address of the printer, and then press Enter. If the Java applet screen appears, click Yes.

3Click Address Book.

4Under Email Address Book, click Group Directory.

5In the Directory Listing, click Add for any group name.

6Type a name for the group, and then click Save Changes to create the group.

7Click Return to list the Group Directory.
