The following table describes the different Presence states:

Active available

Active on the phone

The user is on a call. The system displays this

 

 

indicator automatically.

 

 

 

 

Connected

The user is registered on the network.

 

 

 

 

Connected inactive

The user has not used their computer for a period

 

 

of time. The user can configure the idle timer,

 

 

using Preferences, Services, Presence, Auto

 

 

presence.

 

 

 

 

Connected <user

These are the connected default states (Away,

 

defined>

Out to lunch, and Be right back) and any

 

 

user-defined connected states that identify that

 

 

the user is registered, but not available.

 

 

 

 

Unavailable

The user is registered in the network but is busy,

 

 

or the user is not registered on the network.

 

 

 

 

Unknown

No Presence information is available.
