Call flow for Scenario 1 - local call

The branch office user dials 6-395-3456. The system transmits 395-3456 to the NRS. The NRS checks its provisioning, and determines that all calls are to be sent to the main office; it directs the call to the main office.

The branch office sends the call to 395-3456 to the main office.

The main office determines that this is LOC 39534, to another branch office, with gateway routing prefix 552. The system inserts the prefix and transmits 552-395-3456 to the NRS. The NRS checks its provisioning, and determines that all calls to prefix 552 are to be sent to branch office A2; it directs the call to the branch office.

The main office sends the call to 552-395-3456 to the branch office. The branch office deletes the prefix and the HLOC, and rings set 3456.
