1Main office B determines that this is to LOC 44434, which is a local branch office with prefix 225. The system transmits 225-444-3456 to the NRS. The NRS checks its provisioning, and determines that this call goes to branch office B1.

2The main office sends the call to 225-444-3456 to the branch office. The branch office deletes the prefix, discovers the call is to its HLOC 444, deletes the HLOC, and rings set 3456.
