Tip:

You can also charge your device by connecting it to your computer with the sync cable. You can do this with or without using the charger cable (see “Connecting Your Palm Centro™ Smart Device to Your Computer” on page 34). Keep in mind that it takes longer to charge the battery using the sync cable, and if your laptop isn’t plugged into a power source, it can drain the laptop’s battery.

The onscreen battery icon displays the power status:

Full battery : Battery is not connected to a wall outlet and is fully charged.

Partial battery : Battery is not connected to a wall outlet and has some power but is not fully charged.

Almost-empty battery with red at the bottom : Battery needs to be charged immediately.

Note:

Your device’s indicator light blinks red when the battery needs to be charged.

Red lightning bolt : Battery is connected to a wall outlet and is charging.

Green lightning bolt : Battery is connected to a wall outlet and is fully charged.

Tip:

To see exactly how much power is left in your battery, tap the onscreen battery icon.
