Getting Started
This chap te r g et s you started us in g your phone and learning its basic
fea tures and funct ion s.
Not e: Do not mo dify or disassemble the handset. D o not
pull or twist the ant enna as doing so may loose n the
connection and/or damage the antenna.
Battery Use
Note: The battery m ust be f ully char ge d bef or e using your
phone for the first time. Your handset’s new battery will
achieve maximum performance after two or three charges.
Attach and charge the bat tery as described in this sec tio n.
Attaching the Batt ery
1Insert the to p edge of the ba ttery along the top edge of the phone ’s
battery compartm ent.
2Push the bo ttom of the batte ry toward the phone until it clicks i nt o
place.
Charging the Batter y
1With the directional arro w s f aci ng up, attach the AC adapter to the
phone.
2Insert the pl ug into an AC pow er out le t. The indicator lig ht tu rn s re d. If
the phone is on during charging, the charging time will be extended.
When the battery is charged, the indicator light turns off and (if the
phone is on) the battery icon ( ) is filled.
