68 Service Provider Features
Deleting a Text Message
Note: To delete a locked message in the Inbox, you must use the
following steps. Lo ck ed messages will not be del et ed by
selecting Delete All from t he Text M essage menu.
1With the message selected or displayed, press (OPTION).
2Scroll to Delete, and pr ess (OK).
3Press (YES) to del ete t he m es sa ge.
Calling Back a Text Message
When th e te xt of a me ssage conta in s a t ele p hone number, you can call
that number without having to press the keys yo ur self.
1With the message displayed, press (OPTION).
2Scroll to Call Back and pres s ( O K).
•Any numbers contained in the message are listed.
3Scroll to the phone number you want to call back.
4Press (O PTION ) an d then select Prefix to add a prefix to the
phone nu m ber, or select Save to save the number in the Phonebook
as a home, work, cell, or other phone number .
OR
Press (SEND) t o plac e t he call .
Adding the Sender to your Phonebook
1With the message displayed, press (OPTION).
2Scroll to Add Sender and press (OK).
•A blank Phonebook listing is displayed. If an email address is included
in the message, it is automatically inserted in the listing.
3Add or edit ad di tio nal Phonebook f ie lds as described i n “Creating a
Phoneboo k Entr y” on page 32.
4When you are finish ed, press (FIN IS H ).
Note: If a phone number is displ ayed after From: in an Inbox
messa ge, pr essing call s t he displayed number.
Viewing Outbox Messages
1From the Text M essage menu, scroll to Outbox and press (OK).
2Press or to scroll to the m essage of you r c hoi ce, then to
scroll thro ugh the time , de st inat i on, picture a nd/or melody (if pre sent),
and the message.
3After readi ng t hr ough a messa ge, pr ess (OPTION).
4From the O pti ons menu, do one of the following:
-To edit the destination or the text of a message, or to change a
picture or a melody att ached to the mes sage, pres s (OK) to
select Edit.
•The Compose screen is displayed. See “Composing a Text
Message” on page 64 fo r inst r uctions on editing a message.
-To forward the message, scroll to Forward an d pr ess (OK).
•The Compose screen is displayed. See “Forwarding a Text
Message” on page 67.
