Miscellaneous Menu

Model Type

To find out wh ich m odel type your phone is, follow these steps:

1From standby, pres s (MENU ) to en te r the Main Menu .

2Scroll to Phone Settings and press (OK).

3Scroll to Miscellaneous and pr ess (OK).

4To sel ect Model Type, press (OK).

5Press (OK) to return to standby.

Emergency Call

Note: When you pu rc hase your phon e, th e Em er gency Call

feature that le ts you cal l 911 by simply pr ess i ng and holding

is disabled. Y ou have to enable this key assignment before

you can use it.

To enable th e key emergency nu m ber assignment , fol low t hese

steps:

1From standby, press (MENU) to enter the Main Menu.

2Scroll to Phone Settings and press (OK).

3Scroll to Miscellaneous and pr ess (OK).

4Scroll to Em ergency Call and press (OK).

•The display shows that the Emergency Call key

assignment is Off.

5Press to scroll to On and press (OK).

•The display confirms the change and you can now call the emergency

number 911 by pressing and holding .

TTY Mode

TTY Mode al low s a hearing-im paired perso n t o use the phone by

connect i ng a TTY device.

When TTY Mode is set to On, any accessory that is connected through the

headset /T TY connector on t he lower left-hand side of the ph one is treated

as a TTY device.

When TTY Mode is set to Off, any accessory that is connected through the

headset /T TY connector is treated as a head set (handsfr ee device).

4Scroll to TTY Mode and press (OK).

5To change the TTY Mode, scroll to the other option and press

(OK).
