Adding a Melody
11 To send a m el ody with your m essage (if sen di ng t he message to
another EB-TX310 phone), scroll to Melody, and press (SELECT ).
12 Select from th e lis t of m elodies.
•To hear a melody, scroll to the melody and press (PLAY). Press
(STOP) to stop playing the melody.
13 Press (OK).
•The Compose menu is displayed. If you selected a melody to send,
there is a check mark next to Melody.
14 Press (FINISH).
Message Options
15 Do one of th e fo llo w in g:
-To send th e m essage, pre ss (OK).
-To store the message in the outbox before sending it, scroll to Save
Message and press (OK) .
•The ou tbo x hold s up to 20 un sent messa ges . When the ou tbox is
full, a warning is displayed if you try to compose a message. You
must de let e or send an outbox message bef or e yo u can
compos e a new mess age.
-To delete the message and return to the Text Message menu, scroll
to Exit and pres s (OK).
Caution: You can include a pict ure or a melody with a message
only to another EB- TX31 0 phone. If you s end a picture or a
melody w ith a me ssage to a phon e ot he r t han an EB- TX310,
your message will be delivered, but it may contain extraneous
characters.
Accessing Text Messages
Tip: To quickly access text messages i n your Inbox at any time,
press twice. If you are in the Text Message menu, press
once.

2Press (OK) to select Text Message.
