52 Additional Operations
Phone Settings
The Phone Settings menu allows you to set specific featur es according t o
your own preferences.
Display Settings
Backlight
The backlight color can be set to Amber, Yellow, Green, Blue, Purple, or
Teal.
1From standby, pres s (MENU ) to ent er the M ain Menu.
2Press to scroll to Phone Setting s. Press (OK).
3Press (OK) to select Display.
4Press (OK) to select Backlight.
5To change the setting, scroll to another color and press (OK) to
select it.
Display Contrast
The contrast le vel of th e phone ’s displ ay can be adjus ted.
1From standby, pres s (MENU ) to ent er the M ain Menu.
2Press to scroll to Phone Setting s. Press (OK).
3Press (OK) to select Display.
4Press to scroll to Contrast. Pres s (OK).
•The display indicates the current contrast setting.
5Press t o i ncr ease the con tras t. Pre ss to decre ase the contra st .
6When you see the contrast you want, press (OK).
Standby Screen
You can set your sta ndby screen to show the curr ent date and tim e or you
can choose from eig ht stan d by pi ctures. (Se e “Personalizi ng Your Phone”
on page 16, for infor m at i on on how you ca n ch oose from addi t ional
pictures fo r your standby screen.)
